Youth Power Organization (YPO) is a youth-led nonprofit and nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering Tanzanian youth for a sustainable future. YPO was established in October 2020 and officially registered on January 5, 2021, with registration number 00NGO/R/1597 under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002, made under section 11 (1) and 17 (2) of Act No. 24 of 2002. The organization operates across all regions of the Tanzanian mainland.

We exist to serve communities, not ourselves. That’s why 100% of our donations go directly to helping youth secure jobs and address challenges related to the environment and climate change, oppressive and discriminatory policies, food insecurity, health issues, gender-based violence, and unjust social systems to create a supportive environment.
